Saudi Arabia has provided e-visa facility to three more countries.

Saudi Arabia has provided electronic visa facility for the citizens of three more countries, Barbados, Bahamas and Grenada. After this extension, citizens of 66 countries will now be able to get e-visa.

According to the state news agency SPA, citizens of these countries can now apply for visas online or get visas by arriving at Saudi entry points.

This initiative is an important part of the Ministry of Tourism’s strategic efforts to increase the Kingdom’s global connectivity, promote economic diversification and achieve the goals in the tourism sector under Vision 2030. These goals include the contribution of the tourism industry to GDP. to grow by more than 10 percent and create 1 million jobs.

Besides, the tourist visa has been extended to seven additional categories. These include US, UK and European Union residents as well as US, UK and Schengen visit visa holders.

Residents of GCC countries are also eligible for visas for various travel purposes such as tourism, Umrah, visiting family or friends, attending various events, exhibitions and conferences.

Saudi Arabia has also introduced a transit visa for travelers from Saudi Arabia and FlyNAS, which allows them to stay in the Kingdom for 96 hours before continuing their journey. Will be expanded.
