Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz approved the laptop scheme for students. A meeting regarding higher education sector reforms was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz in which important decisions were taken including the approval of the laptop scheme. Students of Punjab will be given latest laptops again after 7 years.
In the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the promotion of higher education, laptop and transport facility for the students. In the meeting, it was also agreed to build new universities and colleges on priority basis in the backward districts.
On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz said that international standard universities in every district and colleges at the tehsil level are among our goals. Welcomes Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s declaration of “Educational Emergency”. 20 thousand motorbikes are being given to students across the province.
