Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was met by the British High Commissioner in Pakistan Mrs. Jane Marriott, bilateral issues were discussed in the meeting.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif was met by Mrs. Jane Marriott, the British High Commissioner posted in Pakistan, Chief Economist and Director of Economics and Evaluation Directorate, Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office London Prof. Adnan Khan was also present in the meeting.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan and the United Kingdom have a long-standing relationship which is getting stronger with time, Pakistan is looking for investment from the United Kingdom and other countries.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has immense potential in agriculture, food security, information technology, tourism, mining and other sectors, we are moving towards government governance structure and institutional reforms.
He added that the digitization of the Federal Board of Revenue is in the final stages, steps are being taken at the macro and micro economic level to revive the country’s economy. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar was also present.
