Three players from Pakistan reached the semi-finals of the squash championship.

Pakistan’s top seed Asim Khan beat Hong Kong’s Tang Wang 11-6, 11-7, 11-9 and 11-8 in the quarter-finals played on the fourth day of the ongoing championship at the Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex. Made it to the finals.

Pakistani player Nasir Iqbal qualified for the semi-finals by defeating the seeded Shafiq Kamal of Malaysia in an upset.

Pakistan’s Tayyeb Aslam beat Hong Kong’s Matthew Lai to reach the semi-finals, while Egypt’s number four seed Muhammad Zakaria defeated Pakistan’s Noor Zaman to qualify for the semi-finals.

The semi-finals of the event will be played tomorrow where Tayyab Aslam will face Egypt’s Muhammad Zakaria and Nasir Iqbal will face top seed Asim Khan. In the women’s event of the squash championship, Roshana Mahboob and Mehwish Ali have qualified for the finals.Boys Kamran Khan and Abdul Ahad made it to the finals in U-15, while Huzaifa Shahid and Fahad Khan in Boys U-13 and Damia Khan and Mah Noor Ali in Girls U-15 have qualified for the finals.
