In view of the fear of heatwave in Karachi, the exams of class IX and X under the Board of Secondary Education Karachi have been postponed, while the intermediate exams will also start from May 27 instead of May 22.
In this regard, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi has also issued a notification. According to which there will be no matriculation board papers between 21st and 27th May.
The matriculation paper to be held on May 28 will be taken as per the schedule. The postponed papers of Class 9th and 10th will be announced later.
It should be noted that in view of the heatwaves, the intermediate exams were also postponed. Yesterday, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah approved the postponement of the intermediate exams on the recommendation of the Minister of Universities and Boards Muhammad Ali Malkani.
On the direction of the Sindh Chief Minister, the Universities and Board issued a notification to change the date of the examinations. According to the spokesperson of the Sindh Chief Minister, the inter exams will start from May 27 instead of May 22.
