An agreement was reached between Pakistan and German companies for the production of modern light weight aircraft.
The efforts of the Prime Minister-led Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) have begun to bear fruit, with foreign aviation companies gearing up to manufacture lightweight aircraft in Pakistan. In this regard, an investment and manufacturing agreement has been signed between SkyWings Aviation and Cellier Group Company.
German company Cellier and Pakistan’s SkyWings Aviation will jointly develop lightweight aircraft called Gyrocopter from next year. The first gyrocopter manufactured in Germany will reach Pakistan in August this year. Gyrocopters will be used for air ambulance, crop spraying and other applications.
The CEO of Skywings Aviation has said that the manufacturing of gyrocopters in Pakistan will boost the aviation industry, he said that gyrocopters have the ability to fly with a speed of 160 to 200 km per hour. The agreement between the German company will improve the aviation industry.
