There is good news for the people suffering from inflation that the Railway Department has announced a big reduction in train fares which has been implemented from today.
According to the report, the railway department has announced a 40 to 54 percent reduction in train fare for the convenience of the public, which will be applied from today. The train fares have been reduced up to KM.
Economy class fares of some trains have been reduced by up to 54% while AC class fares have been reduced by up to 40%.
According to the notification, the economy class fare of the train running from Lahore to Pindi has been increased to Rs.100. Similarly, the economy class fare of Khyber Mail train from one kilometer to 130 kilometers has also been reduced to Rs.130.
According to the Railway Department, the reduction in fares has been implemented from Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
