Ogra has also decided to reduce the gas prices by 10% for the financial year 2024-25.
According to Naji TV, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has issued a notification for determining the revenue requirements of the oil companies for the financial year 2024-25, according to which the average proposed price of gas per m for SNGPL is MBTU is Rs.1635.90. The financial impact of last year’s shortfall is Rs 862,612 million per petition as claimed by SNGPL and Rs 580,585 million as per OGRA, which has been sent to the federal government for appropriate policy decision.
