Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to reorganize the Department of Medical and Sports Medicine. According to the sources, an advertisement will be issued for the head of the Department of Medical and Sports Medicine, Assistant Professor will be assigned the responsibilities of the department and A committee of medical heads will be formed to select the head.
Sources said that an experienced medical panel will be constituted for the Pakistan teams while a strategy is being drawn up to modernize the medical sector.
Sources further said that Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is not happy with the performance of medical and sports medicine department, the post of head of medical department is vacant after the resignation of Dr. Sohail Saleem.
