The operation to bring back Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan was terminated.
During the recent riots in Kyrgyzstan, students from other countries, including Pakistanis, were subjected to violence, after which the students returned home by special and routine flights. The recall operation was terminated.
Sources claim that Pakistani students were brought home in 12 charter planes and 14 other flights from Pakistan. 4 thousand 500 students have returned from Kyrgyzstan.
In this regard, sources said that the government of Pakistan bore the expenses of bringing Pakistani students home. Sources related to Indian students say that more than 19,000 Indian students are in Kyrgyzstan.
