Saudi Arabia has designated its ambassador in Syria.

In a major development in the politics of the Middle East, Saudi Arabia has appointed Faisal Al-Mujafal as the new ambassador to Syria after more than half a year.

According to a report by the state news agency SPA, Faisal al-Mujafal thanked the top leadership for his appointment as ambassador to Syria. The Saudi embassy was closed in 2012 during the Syrian civil war. Now Faisal Al-Mujafal will be the first ambassador of the kingdom in Damascus.

It should be noted that Syria reopened its embassy in Saudi Arabia last year and appointed Dr. Mohammad Ayman Sousan as ambassador to Saudi Arabia on December 6.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has welcomed the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to stop the Israeli military operation in Rafah.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the decision of the International Court of Justice is a positive step towards the moral and legal rights of the Palestinians. Should go.
