Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab pleaded for an early verdict in the case of municipal tax collection in the bills of K Electric. A hearing was held on the request of KMC regarding the urgent hearing of the case in the Sindh High Court.
During the hearing, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that it is requested that a decision be given soon on the application, we have to make an annual budget, only after this decision, KMC will be able to make its annual budget.
Mayor Karachi said that this case should be heard quickly in the interest of the city, which city runs without taxes.
The court asked that since when the application is pending in the interest of the city?
Justice Salahuddin Paiwar while talking to Mayor Karachi said that the weaknesses are yours, they are putting the burden on us.
Mayor Karachi said that we have the legal authority to look into the tax issues ourselves, there should be rains, the drains should be cleaned.
