Pakistan will launch its second latest communication satellite into space today.

KARACHI: Pakistan’s second communication satellite Paksat MM1 will be launched into space today.

According to a Sparco spokesperson, the satellite will be sent into orbit from China’s Shichang Satellite Launch Center.

The five-ton satellite is equipped with the latest communication equipment. Through this satellite, the fastest internet facility can be provided in the dimensions of Pakistan.

The spokesperson added that the satellite will be launched into orbit at an altitude of 36,000 km above the earth. It may take 3 to 4 days for a satellite to reach orbit from Earth. Apart from e-commerce and e-governance, the satellite will play an important role in promoting economic activities.
