There is a possibility of more than normal monsoon rains in most places in Pakistan from June to August this year.
According to the Department of Meteorology, more than normal rains will be more likely in central and northern Punjab, while in southern Sindh there may be more than normal rains, there is a risk of flooding in rivers and urban flooding in cities.
According to the Department of Meteorology, more than normal rains are expected in Balochistan this year, while due to high temperature, the snow melting process will be faster in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the first phase of monsoon compared to the second phase.
