Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan was acquitted in two more cases related to the May 9 tragedy.
The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad gave a reserved verdict on the petitions of acquittal in two cases registered against the founder of Tehreek Ansaf in Shehzad Town police station.
A local court in Islamabad acquitted PTI founder Imran Khan of the cases based on insufficient evidence.
It should be noted that last month former Prime Minister Imran Khan and other former and current PTI leaders were also acquitted by the local court of Islamabad in 2 more cases of long march vandalism.
The court said that Imran Khan and other accused are accused of inciting the people during the long march.
The court further said that no evidence has been submitted in the court against the former Chairman PTI and others, the record is insufficient to prosecute the case against all the accused.
