The Sindh government has removed the anti-corruption chairman Farhat Ali Junejo, who wrote a letter about the ‘corruption system’ running in the anti-corruption department with the connivance of his close friend and director of the anti-corruption provincial minister.
Farhat Junejo, Chairman Anti-Corruption Officer Grade 21 of Police Service of Pakistan, has been directed to report to the Services Department after his removal from the post.
Farhat Junejo wrote in a letter to the Anti-Corruption Minister Mohammad Bakhsh Mehr that he was given an envelope as part of the corruption, which was returned.
In his letter, he wrote that the anti-corruption department is taking bribes of 6 to 7 crore rupees per month from various departments, 15 lakh rupees from the deputy director and 10 lakh rupees from the circle officer.
According to the sources, the private person is a close friend of the provincial minister Mohammad Bakhsh Mehr.
