In the first super over of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, Namibia defeated Oman by 11 runs, after both teams had scored 109 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
The third match of the T20 World Cup ended in a tie after an exciting contest, after which the match was decided in an over.
Oman team failed to chase down the target and managed to score only 10 runs in an over and thus Namibia won the match by 11 runs.
Earlier in the match played at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Namibia won the toss and decided to bowl against Oman. Batting first, the Oman team scored 109 runs and set Namibia a target of 110 runs.
