According to the investigating authorities, the young man bought goods from a bakery near the house before the incident, he forgot to take a cold drink, when he came back to the bakery, two motorcycle-riding robbers chased him, one of the robbers got off the motorcycle and searched for the young man, the other was carrying a weapon. Seeing the constant resistance of the young man, the bandit on the motorcycle shot him.

According to the initial report, the police found a 9mm bullet shell from the firing spot, the robbers fled after snatching a 2023 model 150cc motorcycle from the youth.

The police say that the search for the robbers is going on using CCTV footages and other technical means. It should be clear that the deceased was the son of a gold medalist mechanical engineer and the former nazima of Jamiat Karachi University.
