Another citizen was killed for resisting robbery in Karachi. 20-year-old Abdul Basit was killed by robbers near Kurangi Nasir Jump. The deceased belonged to Quetta. Who used to sell Linde shoes. The relatives have demanded the arrest of the killers.
After the incident, the armed suspects tried to rob another citizen a few steps away. The citizens caught the two and tortured them and handed them over to the police.
Police claimed that one robber involved in the incident was killed in an alleged police encounter. SSP Korangi claims that two dacoits were arrested in a police encounter out of which one died in hospital.
According to the relatives, the deceased used to sell old shoes in Karachi and was the youngest among five siblings. The police have collected the evidence from the crime scene and started the investigation.
