President Asif Ali Zardari says that let us reiterate that we will face the environmental challenges for a healthy, safe future for future generations.
President Asif Ali Zardari has said this in the message issued today on World Environment Day.
Pakistan is taking steps to combat aridity, loss of productivity and drought by restoring degraded forests and agricultural lands.
In his message on the occasion of World Environment Day, President Zardari said that we need to encourage community initiatives to promote forests in rural and urban residential areas, promote sustainable land management and water conservation practices. Pakistan is one of the countries most affected by the negative effects of climate change.
On World Environment Day, commitment to environmental protection should be reiterated. Let’s face the environmental challenges for a healthy, safe and sustainable future for our future generations.
