The Indian team will play their first match against Ireland today in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup 2024.
A match from Group A will be played today in the ninth edition of T20 World Cup. The teams of India and Ireland will compete at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
In Group A, USA and Canada have played one match each while Pakistan will play the first match of the mega event against USA tomorrow. USA are top of Group A after winning their only match so far.
On the other hand, the sensational match of the mega event between India and Pakistan will also be played at the Nassau County Stadium. Pakistan has no scheduled matches on this pitch before June 9, due to which the national team may face difficulties against the arch-rivals.
It should be noted that 20 teams are participating in the T20 World Cup 2024, which have been divided into 5 groups. The top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the Super 8 stage.
