The first group of pilgrims from Russia reached Makkah.
According to Saudi media, this group included 200 pilgrims and it is likely that 25,000 pilgrims from Russia will perform Hajj this year.
According to Arab media, water, flowers and gifts were presented to pilgrims at the airport.
On the other hand, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabi’ah, says that so far 1.2 million pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia for Hajj from all over the world.
