The National Institute of Health has issued an advisory regarding the prevention and timely control of cholera.

According to the National Institute of Health, like other Asian countries, Pakistan is also suffering from cholera epidemic, cases of cholera have been reported in different parts of Pakistan.

During the summer and rainy season till November, cholera cases are expected to increase, due to poor hygiene and lack of clean drinking water, the disease can spread.

The National Institute of Health has instructed the concerned health authorities to be vigilant through an advisory. It is important to wash hands frequently with soap to avoid disease. To avoid disease, wash hands before preparing food or eating, clean boiled water, Drink chlorinated or bottled water.
