An agreement was signed between Pakistan and Russia on railway cooperation.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Railways in this regard, the signing took place on the occasion of the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) there will also be future cooperation between the respective companies operating in this sector.
According to the statement, the purpose of the agreement is to promote and facilitate international cargo transport. The MoU was signed by Pakistani Ambassador Muhammad Khalid Jamali and Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia.
