Famous Bollywood singer Sukhwinder Singh has decided to charge 2 rupees for a film song.
According to Indian media reports, Sukhwinder Singh, who has given voice to songs like ‘Chal Chhiya Chhiya, Ramta Jogi, Lai Vi Na Gayi and Jai Ho, is known to charge hefty fees for film songs.
In a recent interview, the singer decided to charge Rs 2 per film song from now on and said that there are rumors that I charge huge amount for film songs.
When asked if the budget of films has increased, do they also charge a lot for their songs? Sukhwinder Singh’s response to this was surprising.
The singer added that the new music composer and filmmaker will definitely have a good story and good music but they will run away hearing the rumor of my remuneration.
He said that therefore I have decided to make a clear announcement regarding my song fee, earlier I had intended to charge zero rupees for a film song.
Sukhwinder Singh also said that I consulted lawyers about this, who said zero rupees technically cannot be written, so I said one rupee, they laughed and I said 2 rupees would be fine. .
He said that I have returned the previous contracts in which fees of 10 lakhs and 11 lakhs were mentioned, decided whether the film should be released on OTT or on theaters, I did not take the money, he said. That I was financially comfortable, I made it clear that I don’t need money, just give me a good song, I will perform private concerts for the money.
