According to the announcement of the Power Division, Energy Minister Owais Leghari has met the president of the world’s largest solar manufacturing company in China. The federal minister invited the Chinese company to set up a solar manufacturing plant in Pakistan.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the Federal Minister gave a briefing on Pakistan’s solar energy potential, Owais Laghari said that Pakistan is rapidly increasing the proportion of renewable energy in the energy mix.
He said that the president of the Chinese company has assured cooperation for the promotion of solar energy in Pakistan.
