The funeral prayers of 7 jawans who were martyred in the mine explosion in Lucky Marwat were performed in Bannu.
According to ISPR, Corps Commander Peshawar’s service officers, jawans and citizens participated in the funeral prayer. The bodies of the martyrs were sent to their native areas, where they will be buried with full military honours.
The martyrs include Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas, Subedar Major Muhammad Nazir, Lance Naik Muhammad Anwar, Lance Naik Hussain Ali, Sepoy Asadullah, Sepoy Manzoor Hussain, Sepoy Rashid Mehmood.
ISPR says that Pakistan’s security forces are committed to end the menace of terrorism and the sacrifices of our brave martyrs reinforce our resolve.
